Firearm Identification and Cartridge Comparison using Three Dimensional Photogrammetry to Compare Firing Pin Impressions and Tool Marks. (2017)
The use and applicability of multi-image photogrammetry was investigated to identify and compare the tool marks left on fired brass cartridges found in archaeological contexts. The firing marks imprinted on brass handgun and rifle cartridges were used to identify the firearm from which the particular cartridge was chambered and fired.
