Six pollen and three macrofloral samples were recovered from various levels of fill at site 26CK2954 in southem Nevada. Fill from a hearth feature and a packrat midden aIso were examined for macrofloral remains, and sixteen botanic samples were submitted for identification. A packrat midden from inside a small, south-facing rockshelter (site LA 134890) in southeast New Mexico was sampled for pollen and macrofloral remains. The remains of a burned packrat midden and general fill of the shelter also were examined for macrofloral remains.
