A very large battle damaged artifact, a M1917 French Renault tank, at the National World War I Museum in Kansas City, Missouri was subjected to analysis with an ALS (altenative light source) in order to identify and bring out faded painted markings. This document describes the results of interviews from 1999 to 2002 among 31 members representing 16 tribes to identify artifacts in the NAFB collection that meet NAGPRA criteria for repatriation. The artifacts were recovered from Air Force lands in southern Nevada, with the boundaries shown in Figure 1.
