Reevaluating the Archaic/Woodland Transition in the Northeast (2016)

This paper is the result of an ongoing research project into the technological and social changes occurring in northeastern North America from the Late Archaic to the Late Woodland. This dynamic period in the region’s prehistory is traditionally marked as the boundary between mobile hunter-gatherer-fishers and ceramic-producing horticulturalists.
