Archaeological Monitoring for the 11th Avenue Paving Project: Phases 1 and 2, in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona (2014)
This report presents the results of archaeological monitoring for a construction project along 11th Avenue in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. The monitoring was conducted by Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. The Salt River Project (SRP) is expanding the Santan Generating Station in Gilbert, Maricopa County, Arizona. Due to the expansion, El Paso natural Gas Company (EPNG) rerouted their natural gas pipeline that provides fuel for the station; a meter station was also relocated. The reroute had the potential to impact the historic Highland Canal, AZ U:9:174(ASM); however, the Highland Canal was not found.
