On May 11, 2000, SWCA, Inc. completed a Class III archaeological survey. The survey was conducted at the request of Whitman & Company in order to comply with Section 106 (36 CFR part 800) of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (Federal Register 1999), as may be required under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
