Archaeological fieldwork for the Rancho Vistoso Survey was done between March 31, 1986 and July 3, 1986. The project was undertaken prior to development of the Neighborhood 5B parcel of the Rancho Vistoso property by Monterey Homes of Tucson. Treatment of the site is subject to the provisions of the Town of Oro Valley Grading Ordinance and the Rancho Vistoso Planned Area Development District, which calls for the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to oversee treatment of sites on the property.
