Archaeological fieldwork for the Rancho Vistoso Survey was done between March 31, 1986 and July 3, 1986. A total of 240 person days was expended surveying the nearly 8,000 acres within the project boundaries. Forty-six sites and 128 non-sites were recorded and given field designations (FD’s). This document reports the results of the archaeological testing of a small portion of Sleeping Snake Village (AZ BB:9:104 [ASM]), located on the Rancho Vistoso property, in the Town of Oro Valley, Arizona.
