The Warm Springs Valley Fault is a strike-slip fault in the northern Walker Lane, Washoe County, Nevada. In the autumn of 2018, a team from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) opened a trench across the Warm Springs Valley Fault. The objectives of the UNR geologists is to better understand the timing and recurrences of earthquakes related to the fault.
