The Fort Argyle Site (9BN28) is situated upon a bluff on the west bank of the Ogeechee River on the eastern margin of the modern Fort Stewart US Army Reservation in Bryan County, Georgia. The site contains the historical Fort Argyle, which was an important early colonial outpost (AD 1733–1767).
