This record contains written, graphic, and photographic material as required for mitigation when a significant historic resource is altered or demolished.Constructed in 1956-1957, Launch Complex 14 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) was designed to support the Atlas missile program, the United States' first operational ICBM. Complex 14 was the site of the first Atlas launch in 1957.
