F. E. Warren AFB proposes to construct several detention ponds and channels as part of a base-wide storm water run-off project. Pond I of this project is located just outside the east Camp Carlin boundary, in the Fort D. A. Russell National Historic Landmark (48-LA- 71). The pond will be excavated by mechanical earthmoving equipment and a berm will be constructed along the south and west sides of the pond.
