From October 2008 to June 2009, a Phase I archaeological survey and inventory field assessment of all remaining survey areas (16,825 acres) was conducted on base. The investigations reported in this document are by far the most extensive of any conducted on the installation and one of the most extensive Phase I projects ever conducted in Tennessee. Field investigations were conducted in two distinct Periods.
