From October 2008 to June 2009, a Phase I archaeological survey and inventory field assessment of all remaining survey areas (16,825 acres) was conducted on base. Seventy‐four new archaeological sites and 29 isolated cultural finds were identified during the course of the survey. Summary of findings for Phase II investigations of 12 sites on Arnold Air Force Base in Coffee and Franklin Counties, Tennessee. The Phase II investigations served to both confirm previously identified cultural components and identify previously unrecorded occupations. Of the 12 sites investigated, only 40CF124 is recommended as eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
