This report presents the results of an inventory and evaluation of Cold War era buildings and historic structures on Kirtland Air Force Base. In summary, 27 buildings are currently recommended eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Building 20600, the original airport terminal for Oxnard Field is recommended eligible. Properties at Kirtland Air Force Base, Air National Guard area that are being affected by maintenance and repair projects were evaluated using the National Register of Historic Places criteria for eligibility, appropriate historic contexts, drawings, photographs and site visits.
