Human Systems Research, Inc. has conducted an intensive archaeological clearance survey of approximately 800 acres adjacent to the RATSCAT Advanced Measurement Site (RAMS). This area will serve as a construction annex, and will include two permanent powerlines, a permanent access road, temporary aggregate processing, concrete and asphalt batching plants, trailer complex, and portions will be used as a source of borrow materials.

This survey was required as part of the Environmental Assessment process prior to initiation of construction of the proposed Advanced Measurement Site, RAMS. Three large prehistoric sites, three small lithic scatters, one small lithic and ceramic scatter, a rock cairn, and an historic road were located within the project area and associated rights-of- way.
