Report and SHPO correspondence regarding disturbances at two archaeological sites documented on Holloman AFB (HAFB). The Sole Site (HAR-005/LA 99457), a historic military building, was vandalized and used for target practice (Report #HAFB 92- 005). McNatt Ranch (HAR-047/LA 103406), a historic ranch, was vandalized and people were caught on the site with metal detectors (Report #HAFB 93-020).

A total of 31 previously unrecorded archaeological sites was documented. Nine of the newly discovered properties are attributable to prehistoric activities. The following document provides a research design and work plan for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) evaluation of 10 sites (LA 99318, LA 103402, LA 103403, LA 103406, LA 103407, LA 103420, LA 103421, LA 103422, LA 103424, and LA 103425. These 10 sites are located on Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB), Otero County, New Mexico, and consist of five prehistoric locations, four historic ranch sites, and one multicomponent site with both prehistoric and historic components.
