DOCUMENT
Full-Text
One bulk soil sample and four detrital charcoal samples from the Johnson Gulch Trench in Grand County, Colorado, were examined for the presence of organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon dating. These samples were recovered from faulted and unfaulted deposits for the Williams Fork Mountains Fault Paleoseismic Inventory. Botanic components and detrital charcoal were identified, and potentially radiocarbon datable material was separated. A total of five radiocarbon dates was obtained.
