One botanic sample and four sediment samples from site 23CK302 were submitted for AMS radiocarbon dating. A single botanic sample from 23LE174 also was submitted for dating. Although the original intent was to recover microscopic charcoal from all four sediment samples, visual examination of the screened portion of two of the samples revealed the presence of small pieces of coal.
