The Platte River Campground archeological site (20BZ16) is located along the Platte River, within Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Michigan. The site was discovered in 1985 and was also tested in that year. In 1987, the Midwest Archeological Center conducted archeological excavations at the site in advance of a planned campground redevelopment program which will impact portions of the site.
