Pollen and macrofloral analyses were undertaken at the KP Site (LA 46300) in Santa Fe, New Mexico in an effort to identify elements of the subsistence base. This site is located in the northwest quadrant of Santa Fe in an area that probably supported pinyon and juniper prior to development. A swampy area was noted east of the plaza area in historic records (Wiseman, personal communication, March 1985).
