A total of 20 lithic artifacts from the Raker I site, 36Nb58, in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, were analyzed for possible protein residues to provide information concerning animal resources that might have been hunted/processed using these tools. A possible milling stone found in the fill of a deep, silo-shaped pit also was washed for pollen and starches to determine if plants were ground using this tool.
