In August 2005, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted a cultural resources survey of the 51.2 hectare Stono View tract, located on Johns Island, Charleston County, South Carolina. This survey included a background review and the systematic excavation of shovel tests at 15 and 30 meter intervals across the upland portions of the project tract.
