At the request of the United States Bureau of Reclamation, an archaeological survey was conducted by the Department of Anthropology, Arizona State University, for the purpose of granting archaeological clearance along the route of the proposed Liberty-Parker 230 KV Transmission Line and two 115 KV transmission lines which will supply power to the Central Arizona Project's Little Harquahala and Bouse Hills pumping plants.
