The Walter F. George Lock and Dam is a United States Army Corps of Engineers project located south of Columbus, Georgia on the eastern bank of the Chattahoochee River. George Dam Mound Site within an archeological district named Cemochechobee on the Chattahoochee River at Fort Gaines, Georgia.
