An archaeological survey was conducted along Leon Creek from Bandera to Babcock roads from July 15 through July 24, and September 14 and 15, 1998, by the Center for Archaeological Research, University of Texas at San Antonio, for the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department. Three newly identified prehistoric sites were documented within the project area.
