This Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan (ICRMP) was developed to provide for effective management of cultural resources as an integral part of the Scott Air Force Base Installation Development Plan (IDP) (Scott Air Force Base 2011a), as directed by Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-7065. This ICRMP does not include MidAmerica Airport, the Joint-Use Area, or the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This is a 5-year plan, covering fiscal years (FYs) 2012 through 2017.
Inventory and Evaluation of Historic Buildings and Structures on Scott Air Force Base Illinois (1992)
The purpose of this study is to provide an historical overview of the development of the base and to document all significant pre-1946 buildings which remain. A total of 119 buildings were determined to meet the criteria of age and significance and these buildings were inventoried in accordance with standards set forth by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency.
