Fill from six features at site 41BS611 in Big Bend National Park, Texas, were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. These features represent shallow, basin-shaped hearths/thermal features capped with fire-cracked rock. Fill from two features at Site 41BS611 in Big Bend National Park, Texas, were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. Two ground stone samples also were washed to recover pollen/starches, while 20 flaked stone artifacts were analyzed for possible protein residues.
