Sherds from two ceramic vessels with visible residue from the Metz site (33ER557) were submitted for phytolith, starch, organic residue (FTIR), and x-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. Two celts were submitted for phytolith, starch, protein residue (CIEP), and FTIR analysis.
