The foremost goal of this project was recording all archaeological and paleontological finds in the riparian corridor the Santa Cruz River, on the San Rafael de la Zanja Land Grant. On May 24, 2002, a General Conservation Assessment Survey and exhibits survey was undertaken to determine the conservation needs for the collections at the Slide Rock State Park (SRSP).
