The State Parks Board and department personnel have expressed the desirablility of developing a wall finish over the existing caliche material that could achieve the texture and color of the original white plaster used in the early 1900s. Previous work with cast-in-place concrete on a similar wall in the New Yard area was completed at a cost of $25.00 to $32.00 per square foot of wall face.
