The USACE, Vicksburg District contracted with Coastal Environments, Inc. (CEI) to conduct an intensive survey of the area around Sunflower Landing that would be affected by the construction of the Rena Lara berm in Coahoma County, Mississippi. The survey was conducted between May 22 and 29, 1985. Richard A. Weinstein served as principle investigator.
