The focus of the research was site 26NY3393. This site consists of a gabled wooden lodge with a hearth, a rock ring, and a diffuse artifacts scatter of ceramics, lithic tools, and lithic debitage. The structure is the only gabled log structure known on Pahute and Rainier mesas, and associated artifacts included Based on temporally diagnostic artifacts, the occupation of site 26NY3393 spans 8,000 years.
