Seven archaeological sites and 26 isolated finds were recorded during a recent survey of the right-of-way and access roads for the proposed Palo Verde to Westwing Transmission Line. Archeological Inventory of Ghyllbank, an 1890s Copper Mining Settlement, Isle Royale National Park (1999)
A pedestrian inventory was undertaken in the area occupied by the 1890s copper mining settlement of Ghyllbank, located on the western end of Isle Royale National Park near the Wendigo Ranger Station. Five features from this period were identified: the foundation of the Wendigo Copper Company headquarters; the company dock; a road remnant; part of the existing store; and one structural depression. A pre-1941 stone-lined well that may date to the mining period was also located and mapped.

Golden Depot Arizona Site Steward File (2004)
This is an Arizona Site Steward file for Golden Depot, in use between 1910 and 1930, located on State Trust Land. The site is comprised of cement foundations, a root cellar/loading ramp, collapsed structure, cement trough, and artifact scatter. The file consists of a site data form, map of the site location, five color photographs of site disturbance with accompanying descriptions, a criminal damage report, and a criminal activity report. The earliest dated document is from 2004.
