The Tubac Presidio State Historic Park is renovating the southern addition to the 1885 Tubac Schoolhouse. As part of this renovation, the park is making the structure handicapped-accessible by installing a covered ramp along the east side of the structure. Excavation of holes for footers for the ramp had the potential of disturbing intact cultural resources.
