Approximately 9 mi of transmission line corridor extending southward from the Silverking Substation towards Hayden were surveyed for archaeological resources by the Museum of Northern Arizona in June, 1978. Three prehistoric and historic Anglo-American affiliation archaeological sites were identified along the corridor between the Silverking Substation and the Tonto National Forest boundary.
