This is an abstract from the "Exploring the Recent Past" session, at the 2019 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology. Often historical archaeologists are left with only a few pieces of the historical puzzle of the past. Using archaeological artifacts, historic advertisements, and news articles- I hope to illuminate part of the history of the Hotel Pend d’Oreille.
