Clifton Springs

Clifton Springs, Plp 19-1, is also known as the Sanitarium Site and is located in both Manchester and Phelps Townships in Ontario County. It dates around A.D. 1450 and is considered to be Cayuga. Sample = 34 vessels, from the collection of Arthur Seelye of North Wolcott and also the Community College of the Finger Lakes. Those coded as 01 in columns 3 and 4 are from the Community College of the Finger Lakes. These attributes were recorded in 1970.
