Kleis
Part of: Iroquoian Ceramic Data
The Kleis site is located in Hamburg, NY and is believed to date between A.D.1625-1645 based on the glass bead assemblage. Sample = 227 vessels all from the collection of Richard Buchauer of Eden, NY. Unfortunately, these sherds were uncatalogued and were subsequently mixed with sherds from Ellis and other sites. The entire collection was then dispersed after the death of Mr. Buchauer. These ceramic attributes were recorded in 1976.
