Zanzibar Sub-collection - Urban Services Project

This sub-collection of the Urban Services Project contains documents, images, data sets, and other information related to the historic Swahili city of Zanzibar in modern-day Tanzania during the period of 1800-1870 AD. These files were created as part of the Urban Services Project, Michael E. Smith, PI. Also contributing to the project: Abigail York, Barbara Stark, Benjamin W. Stanley, and Timothy Dennehy. At the time the research was conducted, all were affiliated with the School of Human Evolution and Social Change, Arizona State University.
