This collection contains the abstracts of the papers presented in the session entitled "Pre-Recorded Video Presentation Global Black Archaeologies: Mobilizing Critical, Anti-Racist, De/Anti-Colonial, and Black Feminist Archaeologies in Uncertain Times," at the 2023 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology.

How do we envision the future of “Black Archaeology” in our current moment, and how do we mobilize our efforts globally? The presenters in this session will explore a wide variety of topics and themes related to the history, present, and future(s) of African and African Diaspora archaeology, with specific concern for the advancement of critical race, anti-racist, anti-caste, de/anti-colonial, Black feminist, and related currents within archaeological theory and practice. This session highlights the Society of Black Archaeologists (SBA)’s growing international membership, underscoring the connectedness and distinctiveness of Black archaeologies globally.
