Summary
This dataset contains count and type information for European Manufactured Items (metal objects and glass beads) removed from Tionontate, Wendat, and Attiwandaron sites occupied ca. AD 1500-1650 in southern Ontario, Canada. Data were compiled from published sources and grey literature, and represent a large portion, but probably not every item from every applicable site in the province. More detailed information about how this dataset was assembled can be found in the dissertation: Conger, Megan 2022, Radiocarbon Dating Early Trade and World System Expansion in Iroquoian Southern Ontario, Canada, AD 1550-1650, Department of Anthropology, University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, USA.
