The Allegan Dam site (20 AE 56) is located on the north bank of the Kalamazoo River in the Allegan State Game area. This thesis is the culmination of an investigation of the Allegan Dam site that began more than ten year prior to completion. An overview of the site, excavations, features, and artifacts recovered are described in detail within.
