It uses data from John Yellen's 1977 ethnoarchaeological study of the occupation of !kung Bushman camps, separately available as Yellen's !Kung (Bushman) Camp Aggregate Ethnoarchaeological Data. John Yellen. 1977 (tDAR ID: 378208). It investigates the relationships between the area of artifact and ecofact scatter and he number of people in the camp and the length of the occupation.
