Four sites were examined for pollen in the Navajo Reservoir District of northwestern New Mexico. Three of these sites exhibit Anasazi occupations, while the fourth is an Archaic hearth. A single sample from a possible activity area represents DCA-89-44, while the midden at DCA-89-45 was sampled in five areas. A single sample from an Archaic hearth represents DCA-89-414. Pollen samples were analyzed at these sites to provide data concerning subsistence activities at each site and to assist in defining the occupations.
