Summary

Eight matched pollen, phytolith, and macrofloral samples were analyzed

from the Ruby Creek Site (24CB622) in Carbon County, Montana. This includes

over 170 stone circle alignments, some of which contained interior hearths

and exterior storage features. The samples represent two stone circles.

These samples were examined to evaluate the potential for further study and

to generate research questions, as well as to characterize local vegetation.
