Summary
The Seim/Livingood site includes at least four aboriginal components
including Archaic, Middle Woodland, Late Woodland, and Oneota/Plains Village.
Located in southwestern Minnesota near the town of Granite Falls,
this site represents an area not yet studied for its pollen record. Pollen
analysis was undertaken on stratigraphic samples from 21CP29 to identify
past vegetation and contribute to a reconstruction of paleoenvironmental
conditions.
