Summary

A portion of the fill of a single isolated hearth (Feature 2) was

floated and examined for charred macrofloral remains. This hearth is located

in Locus 2, which consists of remains of a prehistoric camp associated

with a series of low dunes. Cultural material included flakes, a scraper,

and six features, five of which were located on the surface. The purpose of

this analysis was to identify any plants processed in the hearth, as well as

the type of fuel used.
