Summary

Pollen samples recovered during the 1990 excavations were analyzed from

floor contacts and features in Areas 1, 2, 3, 5, arel 8 at the Dutch Canal Ruin.

Pollen analysis was conducted to obtain evidence for economic activities

involving plants. Specific questions identified in the research designed for

this project will be addressed by archaeobotanic studies (SWCA, Inc. 1989:46)
