Summary
5EP576, a two-ccwponent secondary butchering site, was examined
stratigraphical for pollen. A radiocarbon age of 4690 + 270 BP establishes a
date for the oldest occupation. The pollen record examines paleoenvironmental
conditions from prior to 4700 BP to the present on the High Plains of eastern
Colorado.
